ABOUT ROLF'S WINDOW CLEANING
Rolf’s Window Cleaning, located in Parksville, British Columbia, has been locally owned and operated for over 25 years. The original owner, Rolf himself, passed the keys of the business on in 2013. At that time, the current owner, James Brendeland, began working for the company as an employee at just 13 years old. Rolf stayed on for the next couple of years to help the new owner understand and learn the business, while also teaching new employees how to clean windows like a pro.
Fast forward to September 2024, James purchased the business and began the next chapter of Rolf’s Window Cleaning.
Today, Rolf’s Window Cleaning remains focused on being a reliable, trusted local business that delivers great customer service and top-level quality.

MEET THE OWNER
James was born in Vancouver in 1999, and his family moved to Parksville in the summer of 2008. He grew up playing hockey locally in the Oceanside Minor Hockey Association. James was lucky enough to play for the Oceanside Generals Junior Hockey Club, a team he grew up watching.
His final years of hockey were played at Vancouver Island University where he studied criminology. While growing up, James spent his summers working for Rolf’s Window Cleaning from the age of 13 through 19. From ages 20 to 23, he spent his summers commercial fishing, and after graduating from Vancouver Island University, he decided to pursue commercial fishing full-time.
His work led him on many adventures up and down the coast of British Columbia, from Victoria to Prince Rupert and (almost) all the way around Haida Gwaii. When he found out that Rolf’s was for sale, he decided to leave his adventurous job behind and take his turn at owning a company he had grown to love. These days, James is focused on growing the business and being known as your first choice when it comes to the services they provide.
